Kayla started out studying legal services at college before going to Edinburgh Napier University where she graduated with her LLB, followed by gained her diploma from Glasgow Strathclyde in 2022. She joined CSG Legal in 2026.
Kayla completed her traineeship in a small firm, which developed her experience in both criminal and civil proceedings. Kayla under took proof and trials whilst a trainee. Kayla specialises in both criminal defence, children’s referral and panel proceedings. Kayla has gained a reputation for her tenacious presentation of client’s cases and is passionate about promoting pragmatic, workable solutions that ensure positive outcomes for children and their families. Kayla approaches each case without judgement in a calm, caring and measured approach.
Kayla also holds qualifications in childcare and is a trained mental health first aider.
